I mentionned a band in July 2008 named Pretty Whores of Manhattan. I summed up their music in one single word : "yeaaahh". Nearly one year later, they have shortened their name into Pretty Whores. The shorter the better ?
Well, I received Teens of USA, the debut EP of the band, days ago. But I did not pay attention to it before yesterday. I confess I did not expect something brilliant. I thought it would be noisy and fun but nothing REALLY worth mentionning. (Once again) I was wrong. This EP is incredibly great. One of the best record I heard this year. Just buy it through their MySpace page. 8 songs. Very short. Very loud. Very "yeaaahh". Sweden, it's official, you got a new great truly punk band.

En juillet 2008, j'ai parlé d'un groupe qui s'appelait Pretty Whores of Manhattan. J'ai résumé leur musique en un mot : "yeaaahh". Un an plus tard, ils ont raccourci leur nom en Pretty Whores. Le plus court, le meilleur ?
Il y a quelques jours j'ai reçu Teens of USA, le premier EP du groupe. Mais je ne l'ai pas écouté avant hier. J'avoue que je ne m'attendais pas à grand chose. Je pensais qu'il serait bruyant et fun mais pas VRAIMENT génial. (Une fois de plus) J'avais tort. Cet EP est incroyablement réussi. Un des meilleurs disques que j'ai entendu cette année. Achetez-le via leur page MySpace. 8 morceaux. Très courts. Très bruyants. Très "yeaaahh". Chère Suède, c'est officiel, vous avez un nouvel excellent vrai groupe de punk.
