When people say «repetition of unrelated colors», there is only one name we could think of: Warhol of course! The undisputed master of Pop Art is now exhibiting 250 of his masterpieces at the Grand Palais in Paris. The fame of his portraits are uncontested, however the motivation and techniques he used should delight the most curious ones. In the beginning of the seventies, Andy Warhol creates in his “factory” the silkscreen printing technique, with the help oh his loyal Polaroïd Big Shot. From the high ranked personality to the most illustrious stranger, he had always put the same amount of intensity in each portrait in order to make the repetition effect paradoxically “unique”.

Everyday except Tuesdays, from 10am to 10pm. Thursdays until 8pm.
Entrance fee: 8 to 1€.
Exhibition recommended by Eva Assayag, Hotel Pershing Hall (Paris 8th arrondissement).
