It is a quite daring and audacious bet by Jade Fourès-Varnier, who transformed an old utility car into a moving art gallery. A true Artefact mounted of four-wheels, this is a refuge baring treasures of the imagination. Jade and her fiancé take the wheels of “Champion” while five young artists in the back express thir imagination. Paintings and sculptures but also videos and music take part in this incredible trip. The Cabinet de Curiosité attracts a extrovert crowd, all in a young and dynamic spirit. Its objective is to make direct and spontaneous contact between the artist and the visitor, unlike today’s elitist galleries. Only one constraint: Find the next stop, where people would come, like the FIAC or the Nuit Sonores in Lyon. The next destination is towards the sand, Champion will go for the southern coast, from Hossegor to St Tropez, from July 23rd to August 15th 2009.
