The green Paris of Hotel Gavarni

Publié le 31 juillet 2009 par Topika

Despite its appearance as a rich area of Paris, the 16th arrondissement is all about charm and greenery. A bit drawn from the noisy downtown Paris, it offers tourists but also locals a moment of escape. However, preserving such an environmental heritage needs quite a lot of actions, which are our actions. It is imperative to be green and the Gavarni hotel has well understood the message. The hotel is able to provide uncontested comfort all by supporting sustainable development. Xavier Moraga, the manager, concerned with his clients’ well being, is suggesting some good addresses. Going from the little stall to the trendy shopping gallery, we have walk around these streets and retain only what’s best for you, and for the planet.

9am a rural wake up…

At the n°75 Lafontaine street, an unprecedented degustation awaits you. You can say goodbye to the industrial “baguettes” that are made in hundreds of thousands and make a stop at the Maison Moisan. This bakery respects the environment and only uses products from biological agriculture. These responsible bakers have an unequalled know how and offer a selection of delicious breads and Viennese pastries. The bakery also offers jams and other eco-labelized products to accompany your breakfast.

Other than offering fresh fruits and vegetables, the market is committed to respecting the environment by growing natural and non-treated foodstuff.
