The relation between a mother and her son are never at rest. Indeed, these two share the same passion. He made it hard on himself and started drinking, while she was a model for the greatest (Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec). She learned her technique at Degas and got the chance to make a name for herself. After being recurrently rejected by many French museum, the couple is now approved and exhibiting at the Pinacothèque, at Place de la Madeleine. The exhibition illustrates the transition between the impressionist period and the School of Paris. Art pieces reveal the emergence of a new working-class, unknown and anxious set of artists.
