Bio...
L’histoire commence il y a plus de 40 ans, en 1964, lorsque des amis fondent le groupe « The Jazziacs ». Ils deviennent plus tard « The Monkers », « Soul Music Review », « The New Dimensions », « Kool & The Flames » et enfin en 1968, « Kool & The Gang ». Très vite, influencés par des chanteurs tels que James Brown, le groupe passe du Jazz au Funk. Dans les années 70, leur style de musique les fait connaître mondialement. Néanmoins, il leur faudra attendre les années 80 pour connaître la gloire. De cette époque, on retiendra les titres « Celebration », « Get down on it », « Cherish », « Fresh »… Depuis, le groupe se produit sur scène régulièrement et continue bien sur de sortir de nouveaux albums.

Bio…
The history starts there is more than 40 years, in 1964, when friends melt the group “The Jazziacs”. They become later “The Monkers”, “Soul Music Review”, “The New Dimensions”, “Kool & The Flames” and finally in 1968, “Kool & The Gang”. Very quickly, influenced by singers such as James Brown, the group passes from the Jazz to Funk. In the Seventies, their style of music makes known them universally. Nevertheless, they will have to wait the Eighties to know glory.
