Shipwreck

More than a month ago, a strange old wooden ship sank late at night at the south entrance of the Bosphorus strait. The remains of the vessel have not been removed and we the residents of the Asian coast had this interesting view of the European coast of the city for weeks: The Haghia Sophia and the Topkapı Palace in the background and the wrecked ship in the foreground.
Il y a plus d’un mois, un étrange vieux navire en bois a coulé tard dans la nuit à l’entrée sud du détroit du Bosphore. Les restes du navire n’ont pas étés enlevés et nous les habitants de la côte asiatique avons eu cette vue intéressante de la côte européenne de la ville pendant plusieurs semaines: La basilique Sainte-Sophie et le Palais de Topkapı à l’arrière plan et le naufrage au premier plan. 

I took these photos just a few days before this mysterious vessel joined the vast ship cemetery underneath the Bosphorus.
