Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz

Le 24 mars prochain sortira sur les écrans français le dernier né du génie Burtonien : Alice In Wonderland. Je vous en avait déjà parlé dans un précédent post à l'occasion de la diffusion de nouvelles affiches. Et je vous en parlerais dans un prochain car de nouvelles magnifiques photos ont fait leur apparition, accompagnées de bandes annonces qui donnent l'eau à la bouche. Je sens que je vais prochainement ressortir mes nouvelles lunettes 3D by Pathé pour un autre film qu'Avatar, ça leur changera un peu... Mais pour en revenir à cette chère Alice, cela me permet d'aborder un autre sujet que j'adore, photographique cette fois : le travail de la photographe de génie Annie Leibovitz.

Cette série de photos n'est pas sans me rappeler la Disney Dream Portrait à l'occasion de laquelle Leibovitz avait déjà représenté Alice au pays des merveilles avec Beyonce dans le rôle titre. Ici c'est le mannequin Natalia Vodianova au côté de grands couturiers qui est mise en scène pour l'édition de décembre 2003 du magazine américain Vogue.

Elle y fait le parallèle avec les illustrations de John Tenniel et parfois avec le dessin animé by Disney. Mais elle parle également de l'adaptation de Burton ou d'une créatrice de bijoux aux inspirations féeriques.
