Football: Premier League secures more millions with radio deal (BBC, Talksport, Absolute Radio)The Premier League's seven national radio commentary broadcast rights packages for the 2011/11 to 2012/13 seasons will be shared between three UK broadcasters: the BBC, TalkSport and Absolute Radio. The deals, which reportedly have a total value of some US$60 million, see the BBC retain the majority of its rights. Four of the packages will go to the BBC, with two awarded to UTV-owned TalkSport and one to Absolute Radio. The BBC has been given first pick of fixtures on Saturdays at 3pm, as well as coverage of Saturday lunch-time kick-offs, and games on Sundays at 4pm and Monday and Tuesday evenings.TalkSport will cover fixtures on Saturday and Wednesday evenings. Absolute Radio, after agreeing their first ever deal with the Premier League, have been given second pick of Saturday 3pm matches.
