What a track, what a f***ing track. First State "Brave" remixed by Jonas Steur is the new trance bomb that we have just discovered. Released in September 2009, along with other remixes like those of the Hungarian Djs Myon & Shane 54, the track features one of the iconic trance voice, the one of Sarah Howells. Her voice was for instance too on the track "Find Yourself" by John O'Callaghan. The remixes of this track "Brave" was released on the label Magik Muzik Holland.

"Brave" is the first release of First State as a solo group. Indeed, Ralph Barendse disassociated himself from the group which originally consisted of him and Sander Van Dien. Sander has nevertheless decided to continue the adventure with this first production, "Brave," which, we must say is a true marvel. He managed to keep the spirit of First State both progressive and trance music.

This track in its original version had won the "Future Favorite" of the Armin Van Buuren "A State of Trance Episode 422” radio show. This production has won this honor, with a majority of votes which has never been seen since the beginning of the show, 8 years ago. A wide plebiscite therefore, largely justified.

Regarding the track itself, it evolves in a progressive atmosphere that gives considerable space to the sublime voice of Sarah Howells. You can also recognizes the pads already used in their previous productions of First State, which are like a trademark. There is only a small pleasant beat which complements the track. It will be definitely a hit at Ibiza this summer. The title takes us into another world, with a voice that offers astonishing variations.

It's definitely our favorite track for the moment. We urge you to go listen and play this track during your mix sessions to the delight of clubbers.

First State fe  First State feat Sarah Howells - Braverave » est la première sortie de First State en tant que groupe solo. En effet, Rl’origine de lui et de Sander van Dien. Ce dernier a tout de même décidé de continuer l’aventure avec cette première production « Brave », qui, il faut bien le dire est une vraie petite merveille. Il réussit notamment à garder cet esprit First State à la fois progressif et trance.

Ce track dans sa version originale avait gagné le prix « Future Favourite » du radio show d’Armin Van Buuren « A State of Trance episode 422 ». Cette production a remporté cet honneur, avec une majorité de votes qui n’a jamais été vu depuis les 8 ans que le show existe. Un large plébiscite donc, très largement justifié.

En ce qui concerne le titre lui même, il évolue dans une atmosphère progressive qui donne une large place à la sublime voix de Sarah Howells. On reconnait par ailleurs des pads déjà utilisés dans les précédentes productions de First State et qui sont comme une marque de fabrique. Seul un petit beat bien agréable vient compléter le track. Carrément taillé pour Ibiza cet été, le titre nous transporte dans un autre monde, avec une voix qui propose des variations étonnantes.

C’est assurément notre coup de cœur du moment, que nous vous conseillons vivement d’aller écouter et jouer en soirée, pour le plus grand bonheur des clubbers.
