Posted about an hour ago on his official blog, here comes the eagerly anticipated "Power Remix". This time, Jay-Z aka the man with whom Kanye West got his big break as a producer, comes to add a bit more swagg to a track which already had more than we could wish for. A few weeks ago, I was desperately looking for some mashup between Kanye's "Power" and Snap!'s classic dance track "The Power" released in 1990. It was so obvious, I thought I would find many of them. As surprising as it may seem, I didn't find any. Of course, Kanye himself is perfectly fulfilling my need here, with a crazy, phenomenal, unexpected ending. "No One Man Should Have All That Power !"

Posté il y a une heure sur son blog officiel, Kanye West vient de dégainer le remix de son nouveau single, "Power". Cette fois, c'est l'homme auprès duquel il devint le producteur à succès que l'on sait, Jay-Z, qui vient ajouter encore un peu plus de swagg à ce qui semble bien s'imposer comme l'hymne rap de l'année. Pour l'anecdote, j'ai cherché, il y a quelques semaines, un mashup entre le "Power" de Kanye et le fameux, et tout aussi culte, "The Power" de Snap! (1990). Je pensais trouver pléthore de remixes, la rencontre entre les deux titres me semblant être l'évidence même, mais étonnamment, rien. Jusqu'à ce que le principal intéressé répare cette grossière erreur sur ce remix, dans un final d'anthologie !
