Entendu au carnaval de Luz-Saint-Sauveur 2011, Space Jahourt est un mélange de chanson française, de punk rock et de world music. Accompagné d'un accordéon, d'un saxophone, d'une batterie, d'un clavier, d'une basse et d'une guitare, le groupe distille un son (notamment par la voix de son chanteur) qui rappelle furieusement le feu groupe Noir Désir.
Leur deuxième album au titre énigmatique, "La Démesure de l'Orthopède", rend hommage à un mystérieux catcheur, Carlos "El Bruto" Mascarpome, mort en 1973.
En tournée un peu partout en France, n'hésitez donc pas à aller découvrir ce groupe d'origine toulousaine à la musique festive et déjantée.

Heard at the carnival of Luz-Saint-Sauveur 2011, Space Jahourt is a mixture of French songs, punk rock and world music. With an accordion, a saxophone, drums, a keyboard, a bass and a guitar, the band exudes a sound (particularly the voice of the singer) which recalls furiously the French band Noir Désir.
Their second album with an enigmatic title, "La Démesure de l'Orthopède", pays a tribute to a mysterious wrestler Carlos "El Bruto" Mascarpome, who died in 1973.
On tour around France, don't hesitate to go to see this band from Toulouse (France) who does a festive and crazy music.
