Live Music Podcast n°21 : Led Zeppelin – The Song Remains The Same (Dallas 1975)

Sorti en Janvier 2007 chez Empress Valley (EVSD 458/459/460), ce bootleg en qualité Soundboard présente Led Zep en pleine forme par rapport à la nuit précédente. A noter que les dates des deux concerts de Dallas sont le sujet d’une polémique qui fait rage dans le milieu (j’en dors plus la nuit).

Je vous propose de découvrir ici un des morceaux qui représente le mieux le groupe en concert (c’est mon avis, et je le partage) : The Song Remains The Same (de l’album Houses Of The Holy), car oui, il y’a une vie après Stairway To Heaven (je dis ça je dis rien, c’est juste à l’attention de mes élèves du cours débutant Led Zep – Unit 1, Lesson 1).

Petit détail : la version originalement sortie par EVSD comporte des erreurs qui ont depuis été corrigée dans certaines versions distribuées sur Internet.

En bref : un super témoignage de 1975, à posséder absolument !

I have the 6cd Limited Edition. This torrent is the 3cd soundboard portion of the set. I pm’d Presence and he thinks that it would be best for now to state the date of the show as the fifth, and to only torrent the soundboard portion of the set.

The original silvers contained micro-gaps near the track transitions. Here is what I did to remove them:

• Renaming tracks to comply with etree naming convention
• Removing micro-gaps near the track transitions using EAC’s integrated wave editor
• Fixing resulting sector boundary errors with shntool
