Après The XX et The Doors, notre Remixes Session concerne ce mardi le groupe révélation de l’année 2009 : Florence + The Machine. Venus tout droit de Londres, Florence Welch et ses divers musiciens, constituant donc la “Machine”, rencontrèrent avec leur album “Lungs” un franc succès, album très apprécié par les journalistes spécialisés de la presse musicale. Un album tout autant mis en avant par le remix non moins jouissif initié par The XX sur le morceau “You’ve Got The Love” qu’on vous propose de redécouvrir pour la énième fois.

Voici donc aujourd’hui un florilège des meilleurs remixes disponibles sur la toile, avec notamment le dernier Jamies Jones. Le londonien s’est occupé de reprendre le morceau “What The Water Gave Me” premier single tiré du dernier album (“Ceremonials”) de Florence and the Machine sorti au cours de l’automne 2011.

Coup de coeur également pour le remix mis en avant dans l’article du saint-pétersbourgeois KLar et sa version Nu-disco très entrainante portée sur le fameux “You’ve Got The Love“… Sans oublier le remix-pépite minimal de l’allemand Paul Brytna, inconnu du grand public.

After The XX and The Doors, our Remixes Session for Tuesday’s group reflects on the revelation of 2009 : Florence + The Machine. Originating from London, Florence Welch and the various musicians who constitute the “Machine” came together to form the immediate success, “Lungs” an album which was popular amongst the masses as well as highly acknowledged by music critics. The album was further brought to spotlight by a remix initiated by The XX on the song “You’ve Got The Love”, which we invite to rediscover for the infinite time.

Today we arranged an anthology of the best remixes available on the web, including Jamie Jones’ latest track. The Londoner reinterpreted “What The Water Gave Me”, the first single from Florence and The Machine’s most recent album (“Ceremonials”) released in Fall 2011.

Another notable remix is delivered to us by the russian KLar, taking the famous “You’ve Got The Love” and reworking it with a catch Nu-Disco beat… In addition a remix by German, Paul Brytna which is not as well known to the public but happens to be a real hidden treasure.
