Une brève présentation pour nos lecteurs. 

Je suis formateur et coach en langues (français, italien et anglais) et en communication, relaxologue et musicothérapeute. Je viens d’une famille pluriculturelle et internationale… et la communication et l’oral ont toujours eu une prédominance dans ma vie… mon écriture est très poétique et souvent très orale… J’écris depuis la minute où j’ai su écrire… c’est compulsif et impulsif… j’écris des textes et des poèmes, des chansons et des comédies musicales, des sketches, des nouvelles et des romans, des livres techniques et pédagogiques, des billets d’humeur et des critiques… Je traduis également… Je fais les adaptations des mes écrits vers le français l’anglais et l’italien… je produis également des livres audio (7 en anglais pour l’instant)…

La littérature occupe une place importante dans votre vie. A quoi cela est-il dû ?

La littérature et l’art en général occupent une place capitale dans ma vie… Le plaisir des mots et des jeux de mots, le besoin de communiquer et de partager d’abord… d’échanger… mais aussi le jeu et l’envie de provoquer… j’écris… j’écris… j’écris sans jamais pouvoir m’arrêter comme sous influence…

Quelles sont vos influences littéraires et non-littéraires ? 

Mes influences littéraires : Le Nouveau Roman… Nathalie SARRAUTE, Sylvie GERMAIN, Christian BOBIN, Ernst JANDL, … La poésie, la chanson et la musique… Barbara, Jeanne-Marie SENS, Alain BASHUNG, Michel BERGER, Claude NOUGARO, …

Mes influences non-littéraires : Les sciences, la photographie, la peinture, la nature… Les gens, la philosophie, la sociologie, la spiritualité, le quotidien et la vie… tout m’inspire…

J’aime exploiter le côté surréaliste du réel… auprès duquel les gens passent… souvent sans s’en apercevoir… sans le réaliser… jouer avec les potentialités de l’existence… et  bien sûr (mais très rarement), l’expérience. La liste est très longue à chaque chapitre… je reste sur les principaux…

Quels sont vos thèmes de prédilection ?

Les gens, la nature, la spiritualité, la musique, le quotidien et la vie… mes écrits sont thématiques… mes livres et mes recueils sont sur plusieurs thèmes… (Recyclage (BioHazard en anglais) et Umma Dawn, sont sur la nature et la vie… Un Mythe Ummite et L’Enfant Perdu sur mon expérience… d’autres, tels A L’Antenne et Y2K, sont sur la communication et la politique… d’autres sont sur la musique, d’autres sur l’écriture…)

Si vous deviez vous exiler sur une lointaine planète, quel livre emporteriez-vous dans votre valise ? 

Les Échos du Silence de Sylvie GERMAIN… mais cela ne serait sûrement pas le seul…

ENGLISH VERSION

A brief encounter 

I specialise in teaching training and coaching in language and communication and cross-cultural trainer and adviser. I am also a fully trained caterer as well as a hypnotherapist, a Reiki practitioner and music therapist… Coming from a multinational multicultural family I learnt many languages and to deal with many cultures…
This has shown me the importance of words and communication. Words are sweet water to my lips…
for lack of a better word I’ll make up my own if I have to… if it serves the purpose of my writing… words are all yet sometimes words are not enough… From the minute I could write I wrote… and haven’t stopped yet… I wrote… before I could even write…

As soon as I put pen to paper the first word is followed by another and another and another and words tag on together… and the words become my words for my greatest pleasure… Words and I are words of a feather… I look at my writing in more of an oral approach… spoken word’s the written word here… our lips are not sealed… My writing evolves around not only words and ideas but also reason and rhymes… sounds like poetry… imagine you’re listening… and let yourself be carried away… My words depict the surreal side of everyday life… with all its eerie magic… riding the crest of the jagged edge between fact and fiction… The music of my words is my melody… Play on words play with words… play on sounds play with sounds… Adaptations, articles, books, lyrics, musicals, poetry, reviews, scenarios, short stories, songs, texts, … I also translate and adapt my writing and others’ from as well as into English, French and Italian… and I produce my own audio books in French (3) and English (7)…

Literature plays a major part in your life. How did it all start ?

Literature and art in general play an essential part of my life… the mere pleasure of words and puns, the need to communicate and share first and foremost… exchanging too… but also the whole game of writing and the secret wish to provoke thoughts… I write… I write… I write without ever being able to stop… as though words and ideas were channelled through me…

My non-literary influences :

Anything and everything really ! Sciences, photography, painting, nature… People, philosophy, sociology, spirituality, everyday life… everything in a word… I love playing with the surrealistic side of life… most people let it go by without ever noticing it… without realising… playing with life’s potentialities… and of course –although rarely- experience… to name but a few…

Which are your favourite themes ?

People, philosophy, sociology, spirituality, everyday life… everything in a word… my writings often gather in themes… my books and collection often do too and around typical themes such as… (BioHazard (Recyclage in French) and Umma Dawn (Un Mythe Ummite in French), revolve around the idea of nature and life… Umma Dawn (Un Mythe Ummite in French), and Live To Tell (L’Enfant Perdu in French) rely on personal experience… others like On Air (A L’Antenne in French) and Y2K are about communication and politics… while others still are about music, teaching and writing itself…

 If you had to relocate on another planet which books would you take along ? 

Les Échos du Silence (The Echoes Of Silence) by Sylvie GERMAIN… but it sure wouldn’t be the only one…
