In the shadow of Tale of Tales - the film will be released in France in the early July - by Matteo Garone, the arrival on screens of Wondrous Boccaccio ( Maraviglioso Boccaccio), a film directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, is a little discreet. Contrary to their colleague and compatriot Matteo Garone, the veterans of Italian cinema didn't have the honor to be part of Cannes Film Festival's' selection this yeat, even though the three directors shared the same subject: the Italian tales. If Tale of Tales seems to have left cold the Cannes Jury, will Wondrous Boccaccio meet its audience?
