Sneak-peak Hotel Le Grand Balcon

Quasi en face du Capitole au centre ville de Toulouse, ce trouve l'hôtel Le Grand Balcon en plein rénovation. Là où logeait et écrivait Antoine Saint-Exupéry (Le Petit Prince) et d'ailleurs les autres aviateurs de l'Aéropostale avait leur pied à terre dans ce hôtel. Le film d'aviateur "au grand balcon" (1949) retrace l'histoire.
l'hôtel fait parti de la Deville Collection (Le General Hôtel). Il a fallut un hôtelier Parisien pour rendre hommage et sortir ce fameux hôtel de son sommeil de la belle au bois dormant. Car les toulousains ne font pas grand chose de leur héritage.
Ouverture prévu pour Octobre 2008.

Almost in front of the Capitole in Toulouse, the pink city, the hotel Le Grand Balcon can be found. Famous since the late twenties of last century when pilots of the French Aéropostale that crossed the Atlantic to bring and get mail from the American continent, had their pied-à-terre or home base here. The best known of all because of his writing: Antoine Saint-Exupéry (Le Petit Prince). The hotel, part of Deville Collection (Le General Hôtel) is in the process of being renovated and will celebrate the grand opening in October 2008. It took a Parisian hotelier to honor this important part of French history in Toulouse.
