It's been a long time since I have not mentionned Du Pacque, one of AbsNoise true fav. Nevertheless, I have been the blog that wrote about them the most, in the whole universe: I started at their very beginning back in June 2006 and have been following their career ever since (interviews here and there).
Right now, they are (eventually) recording their debut album, probably called Erotique DuPacque. Walk straight is one of the tune that will be featured on it. Actually I already mentionned it a while ago, but the band re-recorded it and the song has radically changed. Matilda's voice is now surrounded by a big big noise and the whole thing sounds more Silverbullit than ever.
Good news: Matilda shot also a video for this new version ; with her phone just like every Du Pacque video. Hope the whole record will be as good as that. Now the noisy helicopter can take off.

Cela fait un petit bout de temps que je n'ai pas parlé de Du Pacque, l'un des chouchous d'AbsNoise. Malgré tout, je reste dans tout l'univers le blog qui a le plus écrit à leur sujet : j'ai commencé à leurs débuts en Juin 2006 et n'ai jamais cessé de suivre leur carrière (interviews ici et là).
Actuellement, ils enregistrent (enfin) leur premier album, qui s'intitulera sans doute Erotique DuPacque. Walk straight est l'un des morceaux de ce disque. Je l'ai déjà évoqué il y a longtemps, mais le groupe l'a réenregistré et le morceau est aujourd'hui radicalement différent. La voix de Matilda est désormais entourée d'un gros gros son et l'ensemble rappelle plus que jamais Silverbullit.
Bonne nouvelle, Matilda a aussi tourné une vidéo pour cette nouvelle version ; avec son seul téléphone, comme toujours chez Du Pacque. Espérons que le reste de l'album soit aussi réussi. Maintenant, le bruyant hélicoptère peut décoller.
