GP de Valencia Essais libres...Vendredi

Initialement prévus à Valencia, en même temps que les essais de fin de saison Moto GP, les premiers tours de roue du prototype Suter à moteur BMW 1 000 cm3 s'effectueront à Jerez plus tard dans le mois de novembre. Cette moto, baptisée Moto1, permettra de se figurer ce que seront les futures machines répondant aux nouvelles règles de la catégorie reine – dont le retour à 1 000 cm3 – en 2012. Selon toute vraisemblance, le team Moto2 Marc VDS Racing se chargera du roulage et Scott Redding aura l'honneur de piloter le précieux prototype du sorcier suisse.
Michael Bartholemy, chef de l'équipe belge, a déclaré : "Scott aura l'occasion de faire quelques tours sur la machine de Suter à Jerez, afin de lui procurer de l'expérience." A propos d'un éventuel passage en catégorie reine en 2012, le patron a ajouté : "Le plan est que Scott roule en Moto2 les deux prochaines années (2011 et 2012 donc ndlr) mais nous verrons quelle tournure cela prend." En tout cas, Redding est bel est bien l'un des pilotes les plus prometteurs de la catégorie Moto2...
