Carrier Command Gaea Mission

Bohemia Interactive profite de l’E3 pour lever le voile sur le prochain remake de Carrier Command. Voici donc quinze captures d’écrans accompagnées par une courte mais intense bande-annonce pour ce qui devrait être un superbe jeu mi-action, mi-stratégie. Au passage notez aussi que le site officiel vient d’être mis à jour. On y trouve une présentation du jeu, des unités et les six différents types de terrains qui composeront l’archipel faisant office de champ de bataille.

L’histoire prend pour décor le monde de Gaea, précisément le second tome de la trilogie de romans SF signé par P.D. Gilson et édité par Helios Publishing. En résumé vous dirigerez une sorte de super porte-avions sortant d’hibernation  pour débarquer sur une colonie humaine au beau milieu d’une guerre que se livre les Terriens. Vous devrez particulièrement y affronter un vaisseau du même type que le votre. Si vous ne connaissez pas le Carrier Command d’origine, sorti en 1988, voyez cet article sur Grospixels.

On devrait en apprendre un peu plus ces prochains jours sur les mécanismes de Gaea Mission, dont la sortie est prévue début 2012 sur PC, PS3 et Xbox 360.

Bohemia Interactive launches brand new project´s website and published an official E3 trailer in support of its sci-fi game Carrier Command: Gaea Mission.

Los Angeles, California, June 9, 2011 – Bohemia Interactive, the award-winning independent game development studio, is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new project website accompanied by a new Carrier Command: Gaea Mission trailer video, captured exclusively for the E3 Expo 2011 in Los Angeles.
Along with the presentation of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, the long awaited sci-fi action game, the developers are publicly showcasing the playable version of the recently announced helicopter simulation game Take On Helicopters and the recently announced, latest installment in the critically acclaimed mil-sim series, Arma 3.
