Happy Thanksgiving 2012

Cette année je travailles pour Thanksgiving. Hubby est quand même parti passer du temps avec sa famille, ce qui est important. Comme je le dis en rigolant au travail: après tout, je ne suis pas Américaine et je pense que c'est donc moins dur pour moi de rater cette fête que je ne célèbre après tout que depuis 5 ans. Cela dit ça reste quand même l'une des mes célébrations américaines préférées, un vrai moment en famille. Je m’énerve d'ailleurs un peu cette année contre les commerces qui essaye de commencer Black Friday un jour avant. Alors non, vous m'excuserez mais le jour de Thanksgiving j'ai autre chose a faire qu'aller faire du shopping avec ma famille.
J'ai de quoi etre reconnaissante cette année encore:
-pour un merveilleux mari et un mariage solide.
-pour mes familles de pres et de loin.
-pour mes amis.
-pour un travail que j’apprécie et avec de bon collegues qui vont me tenir compagnie aujourd'hui.
-pour pouvoir courir.
-pour avoir un toit et la sante.
-pour ceux qui n'ont pas la sante mais sont bien entoures.
-pour mon cadre de vie.
-pour les projets a venir.

Que vous célébriez ou non cette fête, je vous souhaite un Happy Thanksgiving. Il est bon de prendre le temps d’apprécier ce qu'on a.

This year I'm working for Thanksgiving. Hubby still left to spend some time with his family, which is important. As I joked at work: after all I'm not American so it's not as hard for me to miss a celebration I've only known for 5 years. That said it is one of my favorite American celebrations, a real family time. I did in fact get annoyed at the shops trying to start Black Friday a day early. No thank you, I've got better things to do on Thanksgiving than shop with my family.
I have a lot to be Thankful for again this year: -for my wonderful husband and a strong marriage. -for my close and far families. -for my friends. -for a work that I enjoy with good colleagues that will keep me company today. -for the ability to run. -for the roof over my head and good health. -for those who may not have good health but are well surrounded. -for the place I live. -for future projects.    Whether or not you celebrate this day, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. It is good to take time to appreciate what we have.
