Une course passionnante, qui a vu la victoire de Denny Hamlin et sa FedEx Ground Toyota devant le véloce Martin Truex JR et le fantastique Jimmie Johnson.  A noter la bonne remontée de Juan Pablo Montoya qui partait 39ème et finit à une honorable 12ème place. Jeff Gordon finit 22 ème.
