Marc VDS Racing signe la pole au Nürburgring

Maxime Martin, à bord de sa BMW Z4 #3 a signé la pole position malgré sa récente blessure à une côte.

Markus Palttala, équipier de Maxime et de Bas, nous a donné son impression sur cette qualification:

« Notre stratégie a fonctionnée à la perfection. Bas et moi en Q1 et Q2 ont continué d’affiner le set-up avec des pneus d’hier et nous avons fait un bon pas avec la manipulation de la voiture. Nous avons ensuite mis tout notre espoir sur la performance de Maxime. Et, il l’a vraiment fait en mettant la BMW Z4 GT3 #3 en pole avec un tour fantastique! Je m’attendais à un top 5, la pole était vraiment inatendue, donc c’était une agréable surprise. Nous sommes tous prêts pour la course. La voiture est rapide et performante, et l’équipe a été superbe durant toute la saison, alors nous sommes confiants sur le fait que nous pouvons marquer quelques points supplémentaires pour le championnat. Bien sûr, nous avons besoin de faire une course propre et sans erreur et j’espère que le fair-play sera de mise pour toutes les personnes impliquées dans la lutte. »

La course démarrera aujourd’hui à 14 heure 30.
