Vernissage Exposition GUY FREDERICQ et CATHY PECH le 26 juin 2015 au Coin d'Art - Olonzac Le Coin d'Art vous invite au vernissage de notre prochaine expo le vendredi 26 juin à 18.00. Cette fois deux artistes très connus dans la région vont exposer des œuvres :
· Caty Pech une artiste peintre qui habite à Cassaigne près de Limoux. L'art est omniprésent dès l'enfance dans la vie de Caty, fille d'Eugène Pech, peintre et musicien. Ses œuvres évoquent parfois des calligraphies méconnues, au delà des codes et du sens.
· Guy Frédéricq est un artiste sculpteur qui habite à Trassanel. Guy a commencé la sculpture à l'âge de 14 ans; c'est son activité principale depuis une quinzaine d'années. Bois, métal et pierre s'imbriquent souvent dans une même pièce pour produire des sculptures très aériennes et fluides souvent avec une pointe d'humour que l'on retrouve d'ailleurs dans les titres de ses œuvres.
Nous vous accueillerons chaleureusement au vernissage et à l'expo qui sera ouverte les mardis matins 9h30-12h et les dimanches 10-12h et 15-17 du vendredi 26 juin au mardi 28 juillet. Bienvenue à toutes et à tous!

We would like to invite you to the vernissage for our next expo which will be taking place on Friday 26th June at 18.00. This time two artists who are very well known in the region will be showing their work.
Caty Pech is a painter who lives in Cassaigne near Limoux. Art has been a part of Caty's life since her childhood: she is the daughter of Eugène Pech, a painter and musician. Her works sometimes evoke unknown calligraphy which seem just out of reach of our understanding.
· Guy Frédéricq is a sculptor who lives in Trassanel. Guy started sculpting at the age of 14 and it has been his main work for around 50 years now. Wood, metal and stone often mingle in his work, producing fluid, airy sculptures often with a humorous touch which can also be found in the titles of his works.
We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition which will be open on Tuesdays (Market Day) from 9.30 - 12.00 and Sundays from 10.00-12.00 and 15.00-17.00 from Friday 26th June to Tuesday 28th July.
Please find attached the poster for the exhibition. Perhaps you would be kind enough to print out a copy and put it up in your village where people will see it. It is really important for the gallery to get the word out as widely as possible so if you can do this, it is a huge help. Thanks!
