Alsace graffiti

Alsace graffiti, c’est ce titre simple et clair que j’ai souhaité donner à ce beau livre. Une trentaine d’artistes et quelque 400 photos vous feront découvrir les graffiti d’artistes ayant exercé leur art en Alsace. Pour chacun d’eux, une petite présentation, une photo perso, et quelques lignes sur leur parcours, en français et en anglais.

Voilà presque deux ans que je parcoure l’Alsace du nord au sud pour trouver les plus beaux graffiti. Le plus dur était de rentrer dans le cercle de ces artistes quelque fois atypiques, mais, oh combien, sympathiques. J’espère que cet ouvrage saura faire partager les émotions qui m’ont traversé lorsque je découvrais les chefs-d’œuvre souvent cachés aux yeux de tous.

Alsace graffiti, it is the simple and clear title I wanted to give this beautiful book. More than thirty artists and more than 400 photos will make you discover the graffiti of artists who have practiced their art in Alsace. For each of them, you will find a small presentation, a personal photo and a few lines describing their work, in French and English.

For almost two years I have been travelling from north to south of the Alsace region, to find the most beautiful graffiti. The challenge was to get into the circle of those sometimes atypical artists, but so friendly. I hope that this book will allow me to share the emotions that I felt when I discovered the masterpieces, which are often hidden.
