Ismael - Trick (mp3)
Sometimes, it is not that complicated : with its good chorus and its good verses, Trick is a good song. It is the first single from Ismael, a trio which sings in Swedish. Their debut album was just releseased last week (buy it there). I have not listened to the whole piece yet, but, according to what I heard, those guys play some melodic pop tunes. More mainstream than usual for this blog. Probably a little bit too clean for me. But catchy and joyful. I whistled it this morning under my shower.

Parfois, ce n'est pas si compliqué : avec son refrain sympa et ses couplets sympas, Trick est une chanson sympa. C'est le premier single d'Ismael, un trio qui chante en suédois. Leur premier album est sorti la semaine passée (pour l'acheter, c'est ici). Je n'ai pas pu encore l'écouter en entier, mais si je me fie à ce que j'ai entendu, ces gars jouent de la pop mélodique. Davantage grand public que d'habitude pour ce blog. Sans doute un peu trop propre pour moi. Mais accrocheuse et joyeuse. Je l'ai sifflotée ce matin sous ma douche.
