La critique de Borat
4 ans après Gorillaz, le groupe revient avec Demon days. Album qui aura droit à de nombreux clips. Feel good inc est le premier. Tout part de la banlieue jusqu'à un gigantesque micro.
A l'intérieur, 2D est déprimé, Russel fait de la batterie et Murdoc joue de la guitare, entouré de filles dénudées. Une vraie bête de sexe, comme je vous disais.
Puis, 2D parle dans un micro-phone à qui veut l'entendre et finit par danser, de façon délirante. Vers la fin, du clip, Noodle est enfin de retour, sur une île flottante avec un moulin.
Décor qui sera reproduit dans la série d'animation Skyland, auquel certains animateurs avaient travaillé sur ce clip. Dans la dernière partie, Murdoc dévoile tout son talent de guitariste, tout en se déhanchant.
Juste à la fin, on remarque l'île pourchassée par des hélicoptères. Un prémise du clip El Manama (que vous retrouverez dans quelques jours).
L'animation est nettement meilleure, bien que le niveau était déjà excellent sur les précédants. La chanson est splendide et tout en mélancolie. Un retour gagnant et toujours inspiré pour Gorillaz.
