En 1998, Creedence Clearwater Revisited publie un double CD live, composé presque exclusivement de titres de John Fogerty.

Ce dernier se devait de répliquer, ce qu’il fait peu après, en octobre 1998, avec le live : “Premonition” (#29 US), produit par John Fogerty & Elliot Scheiner.

Un album live en forme de best of, histoire de remettre les pendules à l’heure et de prouver qui est le patron du bayou rock.

Et pour enfoncer le clou le père Fogerty nous offre un inédit : “premonition”.

John Fogerty semble reparti pour de bon, mais malheureusement ce n’est pas le cas.

Il va à nouveau se retirer du show business pendant 6 ans.
