Le discours d'un roi est le grand vainqueur : meilleur film, réalisateur, acteur et scénario original. Natalie Portman couronnée meilleure actrice comme prévue. The social Network et Inception se partagent le reste avec respectivement 3 et 4 statuettes...
Les nominations viennent de tomber. Sans surprise Le discours d'un roi  arrive en tête avec 12 citations. Suivi de True grit 10 et The social network 8 . Pour les acteurs, les mêmes que pour les Golden Globes, les mêmes gagnants ? Rattrapage pour Mark Ruffalo nommé pour Tout va bien The kids are all right. Le scandale : aucune nomination pour Shutter Island. Côté français après l'élimination prévue de Des hommes et des dieux, L'Illusionniste est nommé pour l'animation mais n'a aucune chance face à Toy Story 3 aussi nommé en meilleur film. Alexandre Desplat de nouveau nommé pour Le discours d'un roi. Hors la loi est nommé mais pour l'Algérie. Résultats le 27 février prochain.
