Love is all is back ! I mean "really" back with some new songs ; no remix here. And I mean not "really" back : just back with some demos ; no definitive songs. You can listen to their new stuff on MySpace. Two songs for your listening pleasure. One of them is called New beginnings, is great and is (only and exclusively) downloadable in Absolut Noise.
So, what has changed since the release of their first record Nine times that same song? Well, Josephine has still her little charming Swedish accent, and the whole band still the same energy. But on this New beginnings, Nicholaus sing more than before. And the saxo is a little more intrusive too. That might be because James Ausfahrt , who recently joined the band, excels in playing this instrument. Maybe [AbsNoise update : actually not, the part is played by their old sax player Fredrik Frippe Eriksson]. At least, this arrival of a new member is not a true surprise considering what Josephine wrote about him in my best of 2007...
Anyway, their next album will be called A hundred things keep me up at night and will feature New beginnings in its track list. The band has decided to put several of their new songs every now and then on MySpace. So, do not forget to check it out : if their other songs are as good as those two new ones, I think we will have an irresistible/extatic/joyful/killer record soon!

Love is all est de retour ! "Vraiment" de retour avec de nouvelles chansons : il ne s'agit pas de titres tirés de leur album de remix. En même temps, ils ne sont pas "vraiment" de retour avec de nouveaux titres peaufinés et compagnie : juste là avec de nouvelles démos. Vous pouvez les écouter sur leur page MySpace. Deux titres. L'un d'entre eux est ce prometteur New beginnings, téléchargeable (uniquement et en exclu) sur Absolut Noise.
Quoi de neuf depuis leur premier disque Nine times that same song ? Disons que Joséphine a toujours ce léger charmant accent suédois et le groupe toujours la même pêche. Mais ce New beginnings donne l'occasion à Nicholaus de prendre plus de place au chant. Et le saxo se montre lui-aussi davantage présent. Peut-être parce que James Ausfahrt, qui a récemment rejoint le groupe, excelle en la matière ? Peut-être [AbsNoise correction : ben en fait non, c'est leur ancien saxophoniste Fredrik Frippe Eriksson qui joue sur cette chanson]. En tout cas, cette arrivée inopinée d'un nouveau membre n'est pas tout à fait une surprise pour qui a lu ce que Josephine écrivait à son sujet dans mon best of 2007...
Leur prochain album s'intitulera A hundred things keep me up at night et New beginnings figurera dans la track list. Le groupe a par ailleurs décidé d'ajouter régulièrement certaines de leurs nouvelles compos sur leur page MySpace. Alors, n'oubliez pas d'y jeter un coup d'oreille de temps en temps : si leurs nouvelles chansons maintiennent un tel niveau de qualité, je pense que nous aurons bientôt un nouveau disque irresistible/extatique/jouissif !
