“['Mean Girls'] is really important to me, because everybody deals with mean girls, whether you’re a guy or a girl. And I didn’t want to reach to just the bullied, but the bullies as well. I want it to be an inspiration to everyone, because I want them to be like, ‘I don’t want to be who she’s talking about in that song, they sound horrible.’ … That was the whole point behind it.
