Bien sûr qu’il y avait de belles choses sur Maison & Objet…mais j’ai choisi de vous parler de l’émouvante exposition Lanscape, véritable carnet de voyage imaginaire d’Elizabeth Leriche. Elle fait écho à mes réflexions personnelles donc j’ai commencé à vous parler (mon expérience quasi spirituelle à Ilha Grande). À savoir l’importance de se ressourcer à travers la Nature, de revenir à l’essence, et d’y puiser une inspiration alors régénérée.
Elizabeth Leriche dont je ne connaissais pas le travail avant ça, a réussi à réunir des artistes talentueux avec une telle poésie que cela m’a ému. En effet on en oublie presque les prouesses techniques de Yasuaki Onishi ou de Mickael Anastassiades pour contempler la beauté de ces paysages irréels.
Sans compter les céramiques absolument divines de Jean Girel et d’autres (je reviendrais sur ce sujet une autre fois
Of course there were many beautiful things on the Maison & Objet fair, but I chose to tell you about the touching exhibition Landscape, a real travel book by Elizabeth Leriche. It sorts of echo my personal reflexions (I started to tell you about them, my spiritual experience here in Ilha Grande). It is so important to get fresh ideas through Nature, to come back to the essence and to dig there a regenerated inspiration.
Elizabeth Leriche (I didn’t know her work before that) succeeded in uniting talented artists with such a poetry…I was moved. Indeed one almost forget the technical exploits of Yasuaki Onishi or Mickael Anastassiades. One can only contemplate the beauty of these surreal landscapes.
And not forgetting the absolutely divine ceramics of Jean Girel among others (I will talk more about this subject another time
