Ce week-end je suis allée visiter le Sénat en famille au Palais du Luxembourg.
Comme nous étions accompagnés d'un Sénateur, nous avons eu le privilège d'accéder à certaines pièces comme l'Hémicycle avec ces fauteuils très confortables, les impressionnantes bibliothèques tout droit sorties du film de Harry Potter, et le joli salon privé de Napoléon. Ayant toujours été passionnée par les ornements anciens, là j'étais servie !
Ce que j'ai le plus apprécié a été le déjeuner au restaurant du Sénat, dans l'ancienne salle de bain de Marie de Médicis, avec ces jolies moulures vert Ladurée, et sa vue sur le jardin à la française.
Le tout suivi d'une promenade digestive dans le parc, afin de vous montrer ma tenue du jour. J'ai eu un coup de coeur sur cette jupe longue jaune moutarde dénichée sur l'eshop Chicwish. Je guette régulièrement les pièces tendances sur le site car elles sont toujours faciles à porter et surtout très abordables. Je l'ai associée à un pull marin douillet, et des bijoux dorés, pour un style chic et confortable par ce temps changeant.
Une journée absolument parfaite.

This weekend I went to visit le Sénat with my family, in the Palais du Luxembourg in Paris. As we were accompanied by a Sénateur, we had the privilege of having access to certain rooms, like the Hémicycle with its extremely comfortable couches, the impressive libraries that seemed to come right out of a Harry Potter film, and Napoleon's private salon. As I'm passionate about historical decorative art, I was so pleased ! What I appreciated most about the visit was the luncheon we had in the Sénat's restaurant, in the Marie de Medici's former bathroom, complete with it's Ladurée-green moulding and its view on the French-style garden. All this was followed by a much-needed post-meal walk in the park, which I used here to show you all my outfit for the day. I sprung for this long mustard-yellow skirt that I found on Chicwish's e-shop. I often pick out my trendier articles on the website because they're always easy to wear and most of all very affordable. Here, I've matched it with a cosy sailor-style sweater and gold-tone jewelry, all for a chic and comfortable style in this uncertain weather. An absolutely perfect day, all in all.
