A la fin des eighties/début des nineties, Josie Jones était la compagne attitrée de Pete Wylie ( Wah!, The Mighty Wah!, Wah! Heat, Wah! the Mongrel etc....) dont le plus gros hit fut The Story of the Blues.
Elle participe notamment au projet Big Hard Excellent Fish, c'est sa voix monotone qu'on entend réciter la morne litanie 'Imperfect list', originally recorded in 1989 for a Michael Clark dance piece.
La mystérieuse Josie est décédée ce 28 mars.
