Deus Ex Machina, is a lot more than just a company or a brand, it's a new culture. It is composed by a group of moto, surf, art and music lovers. They are united by the same belief that those universes had been perverted by marketing forces. Their ultimate goal is to pass their passions and way of life to new generations of riders. That is exactly what they are going to do with the movie South To Sian.

Check out their style and way of life on http://deuscustoms.com and on our marketplace.

In this true odyssey, the film director, Dustin Humphrey, decided to take his camera and follow Harrison Roach et Zye Norris through their epic journey from Bali to North Sumatra. They left with a couple of bikes, a huge quiver of boards, a $50 tent and a 1970 Land Rover for a 4000km adventure away from civilization, work, bills, technology and worries of life. This film shows us amazing shots of those two friends racing down sandy slopes of Indonesian volcanoes and surfing perfect waves on every kind of boards. Through every steps of their journey and their encounter with local population, they will make us discover beautiful and unique landscapes and new cultures.

What began as a three-month surf trip turned into a two-year odyssey through Indonesia. Two years of exploration, adventure, injuries, good times, companionship and perfect rides. And the most important, away from modern technology. During this journey, no GPS, Wi-Fi, no phones, just pure passion and maps. South To Sian is not a road book or a surf movie. It is everything at the same time and a lot more. This movie is a quest to prove to themselves and to us that the dream of a true pioneering surf adventure is still alive. They did like the surf pioneers during the 60's and 70's. Everyone can live this dream if he really wants to.

An impressive, intense ans inspiring movie that you have to watch. Available now on full HD for rent or download on Vimeo On Demand, iTunes and other VOD platform. More info on XTreme Video.
