Random years #3 (1994)

Une année comme on en voit rarement dans la musique. La Mort de Cobain et la premier Album de Korn marque la fin d'un cycle pour la Génération X.
Cette année a vu débarquer de sérieux prétendants au titre de meilleur groupe du monde, comme les premiers albums des Cardigans, Weezer, Ben Harper, Portishead, Jeff Buckley, L'explosion d'Oasis,  Soundgarden, Green Day & Offspring, Cranberries et Nine Inch Nails, Pantera devient le Premier groupe de Métal à placer son album au sommet du Billboard, la confirmation pour Massive Attack, Les Beastie Boys, Kyuss, Dream Theater ou encore Hole.
L'Amérique découvre également Marylin Manson alors que la France éliminé du Mondial écoute en masse Assassine de... Pascal Obispo. La concurrence est donc rude et certains disques sont restés bien sûr dans l'ombre de cette vague plus ou moins alternative. Heureusement que l'on ai jamais trouvé de parade pour contrer la copie de CD sur K7.
