Elizabeth McGrath est une artiste underground américaine basée à Los Angeles.
Inspirée par la relation entre le monde naturel et les déchets de la société de consommation, elle introduit un nouveau cortège de créatures venues des coins les plus obscurs des rues, de la ville, de l’imagination.
Liz McGrath et son mari jouent ensemble dans le groupe de rock alternatif Miss Derringer.
Elizabeth McGrath is a Los Angeles underground artist who creates creepy and lovely dioramas and sculptures involving nightmarishly mutant animals, circus sideshow decadence, and delightfully gross horror movie gore.
Liz McGrath is a master of faux taxidermy. She doesn't use animal parts at all, instead creating her terrifying beasts from resin, fake fur, and fake leather layered over taxidermy armatures and beautified with paint, roofing tar, and hand-sewn fabric.
Liz McGrath and her husband/songwriter Morgan Slade are the co-founder of rock band "Miss Derringer".
