The Infinite Potential of Yoga

We've all heard of the health benefits of a stress management program like yoga. It helps to relieve tension caused by stress and negative emotions; it increases flexibility, circulation, and muscle toning; and it promotes relaxation and well-being.  More specifically though, the techniques used in the ancient tradition of Yoga and Meditation were developed to go much deeper, to target directly the energy source of life.
Studies in the field of Quantum Physics are increasingly pointing towards such an energy source, what is referred to as the quantum field. Through controlled experiments started in the last century, scientists were discovering what is now being popularized in movies like The Secret and What the Bleep do we Know. The premise is that the mind of the observer, the way one perceives and what one intends, actually affect the flow of energy of what is being attended to. There is an inter-connection between us and all things in the quantum field, and we influence and attract what we constantly put our minds to.
By influencing the energy field through your beliefs and attitude, you participate in its flow and movement. Yoga is a practice that helps create flow and harmony. The word yoga itself means to unite, to integrate and become whole. The yoga postures, the breathing exercises, and the focused attention during meditation, all help to soften, balance and harmonize the energy you exude. By developing a regular practice, you remove the blocks and obstacles that obstruct the flow of energy, and this opening allows you to connect with your true essence. In such a place where you feel clear, light, and  grounded, you experience a deep sense of calm and presence that transcends human nature.
Yoga is thus a modality that helps to reverse negative conditions and promote optimal health and wellness. It provides techniques for tapping into the quantum field, the source of all energy and possibilities. From this space within, you develop the vision and tools for creating the life you desire. One class will make you feel calm, focused, and empowered. Develop a regular practice though, and you will find yourself experiencing effortless change and well-being in all aspects of your life.
