Last weekend the bi-annual Studio Stroll took place in the River Art District, a hanged out there a bit. As usual it's a real pleasure for the eyes, even if there was less of a crowd than last November, certainly because of the heat.
Quelques peintures de Daniel McClendon, le fiance d'une amie.
A few paintings from Daniel McClendon, a friend's fiance.

An interesting concept inside a studio.

Gift ideas: for Father's day a felt tie. Although I could see my brother wearing the one on the right.

Glass ornaments for Christmas or year round.

A place to visit: in Biltmore Park one can animate a metal dinosaurus, an example was there in the studios.

For a unique souvenir Michael Hofman works on ceramic with lace motives. He has a collection of ancient lace but also work for custom orders with the bride's dress for the wedding china or the baptism family outfit. I had a chance to see a demo.

And the finished product.

The Studio Stroll was taking place at the same time as the USA-England game, so some closed their doors to watch it. See the signs below found on an artist's door.
