In 1865 the future king Oscar of Sweden has a castle built for him, called Sofiero, close to the sea in Helsingborg in the south of Sweden. Some ten years later, a brick house is built a few hundred meters from the castle in order to house the employees. At that time, seven families shared the 175 sqm, hence the seven front doors... (there are still five today). When Jessica and Lars bought the house 14 years ago, it was uninhabited since 25 years and in very bad condition. Today this is a cosy and homely place, decorated in a personal mix of styles and time periods. The old barn houses Jessica's store (last photo), where you will find her pottery as well as the work of local artists.
