New chief editor for the Vogue

Emmanuelle Alt and Carine Roitfeld (Picture in Sartorialist)

In December, the new had come as a bombshell: Carine Roitfeld, on the head of the newspaper Vogue Paris, left the sinking after ten years of good and loyal service. The French fashion pope which had known give fresh impetus to the magazine with the smart porn tendancy with which it signed most of the photography sessions she realized, preferred to leave his place to deal with personal plans.
And for January, after having waited and having time to imagine who could take back the Vogue’s helm, it’s Emmanuelle Alt, Carine Roitfeld's faithful right hand and former fashion director since ten years within Vogue Paris, who was appointed! Both women with a similar way (stylist and fashion journalist at first) come up perfectly the French Vogue’s duet, young and rock, in front of the more classical American duet, composed of Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington. The arrival of Emmanuelle Alt’s post who will be made from February 1st, is obviously awaited. Then we except a new bend for the fashion magazin and above all, we except the best !
