L'hymne indien, Jana Gana Mana

Dans un pays dont les frontières avec le Pakistan ne sont toujours pas fixées, on aime l'armée, surtout celle qui garde ces fameuses  frontières, et l'on pousse avec créativité à honorer l'hymne national et le drapeau.
Voici une "publicité" touchante, dans une ambiance très populaire. La voix à la fin dit : " Respectez votre hymne national, respectez votre pays."

Au cinéma, l'hymne national passe avant le film. On se lève et on regarde parfois un court métrage à l'écran ; nous avons vu celui qui suit, très remarquable, et toujours aussi émouvant, tourné en noir et blanc pour la chaîne des cinémas BIG.Pour mieux suivre ce court film, voici la traduction de l'hymne en anglais. Traduction attribuée à Tagore qui a écrit et composé ce morceau en 1911 ; il devient hymne national en 1950.
Il faut aussi savoir qu'en Inde, les écoliers commencent souvent la journée en chantant ensemble l'hymne national.
