Cannes est incontestablement la référence en matière de cinéma néanmoins, Paris aime aussi le 7ème art et le prouve dans un style underground unique avec la lancement du Pain O Chokolat Cinema Club.
Sa particularité ?!…Proposer un cinéma de minuit au cœur de la ville, en soutenant et sélectionnant des films indépendants. L’entrée est gratuite et vous pourrez également agrémenter votre séance d’une coupe de champagne !
Pour sa première édition donc, cet événement pour cinéphiles a jeté son dévolu sur le cinéma Max Linder Panorama. Au programme le film « Dirty Old Town » qui rend hommage à la folie New-yorkaise et produit par Jenner Furst, Daniel B. Levin, Julia Willoughby Nason, trois jeunes réalisateurs qui présentent ainsi leur premier film d’auteur.
Alors que cette première édition du Pain O Chokolat Cinema Club s’achève en dressant un portrait unique et incisif de New York, nous nous impatientons déja de voir quelle surprise ce collectif artistique nous réserve pour la prochaine séance !

Paris cinema goes underground !
For those who are as fond of Cannes’ red carpet as much as they are of Paris’ underground cinema, the new Parisian event Pain O Chokolat Cinema Club is the best opportunity to discover independent movies in an intimate location!
Why do we love it ? Well, independent movies in the heart of paris, free entrance and champagne just seem to be the perfect blend! For its first edition, Pain O Chokolat Cinema Club chose the movie-theatre Max Linder Panorama to showcase the indie-movie « Dirty Old Town » which pays tribute to big city life and madness in New York. This feature film is co-directed by Jenner Furst, Daniel B. Levin an Julia Nason Willoughby, three young filmmakers who present their very first work together.
