Hier, le Samsung 500 a vu la victoire de Greg Biffle sur Filtrete Ford, voiture numéro 16, qui partait de la troisième place sur la grille. A noter la bonne performance de Jeff Gordon, parti 24ème et qui termine facilement à la 4ème place  finale.
