  Louis William Tomlinson , né Louis Troy Austin 24 Décembre 1991 (20 ans)  , est de Doncaster , South Yorkshire , Angleterre. Il est le fils de Johannah Poulston et de  Troy Austin. Ses parents se sont séparés quand il était jeune et il a pris le nom de son beau-père  Mark Tomlinson.  Il est le plus jeune enfant du coté de son père avec  Georgie Austin, et du coté de sa mère: Charlotte, Félicité, et les jumeaux Daisy et Phoebe Tomlinson.    Daisy et Phoebe ont eu des rôles de bébés dans un spectacle intitulé Fat Friends .   Après Fat Friends , il a assisté à une école de théâtre dans Barnsley .   Il avait de petites pièces dans un ITV1 film dramatique appelé If I Had You , et la BBC 's Waterloo Road .    Il était une sixième forme des étudiants à l'école Croix-hall , une école publique complète, et un ancien élève de l'École Hayfield .   Il a révélé qu'il n'avait pas sa première année de niveaux A à l'école Hayfield, «principalement parce que j'avais été trop occupé àm'amuser. j'étais tout le temps dans cette première année." Il a fini par revenir à l'hôtel de la Croix et a commencé au même niveau .   En tant qu'étudiant à l'hôtel de la Croix, Tomlinson a joué dans plusieurs productions musicales. Une fois, il avait un travail à Doncaster Rovers stade de football en tant que serveur dans leurs suites de réception, bien qu'il supporte Manchester United .    Louis Tomlinson a révélé que de décrocher le rôle principal de Danny Zuko dans une production high school musical de Grease était sa motivation pour une audition pour The X Factor .     Louis Tomlinson cite l'English Recording Artist, membre de Take That  Robbie Williams comme son plus grand influent et idole. His parents split when he was young and he took on his stepfather Mark Tomlinson's name. He has five younger half-sisters, on his father's side: Georgia Austin, and on his mother's side: Charlotte, Félicité, and twins Daisy and Phoebe Tomlinson.     Daisy and Phoebe had roles as babies on a show called Fat Friends, he would go along and serve as an extra. After Fat Friends, he attended an acting school in Barnsley. He had small parts in an ITV1 drama film called If I Had You, and BBC's Waterloo Road.  He was a sixth form student at Hall Cross School, a state comprehensive school, and a former pupil of the Hayfield School.   He revealed that he failed his first year of A levels at the Hayfield School, "mainly because I’d been too busy having fun.     I was out all the time in that first year." He ended up going back to Hall Cross and started A levels over again.As a student at Hall Cross, Tomlinson starred in several musical productions.   He once had a job at Doncaster Rovers football stadium as a waiter in their hospitality suites, although he supports Manchester United. Louis Tomlinson revealed that landing the lead role of Danny Zuko in a high school musical production of Grease was his motivation for auditioning for The X Factor. Louis Tomlinson cites English recording artist and Take That member Robbie Williams as his biggest influence and idol.     In an interview with Now Magazine he stated: "I've always loved Robbie. He's just so cheeky, he can get away with anything. Louis Tomlinson is currently in a relationship with Manchester University student Eleanor Calder. In 2011, his mother and step-father announced they were getting a divorce.
