While rain was falling these last weeks, I spent most of my time at home learning to use my new sewing machine. I'm now very comfortable with it. I totally forgot my old mechanical Singer... even if I'm still not ready to get rid of it. These last days, I took the opportunity to sew bags in expectation of an improvement of the weather. Now, I have two bags for my knitted works in project. The first one is from Cath Kidston's book "Sew!"that darling gave me for my birthday and the other one is a reversible japanese bag made of Wax fabrics. I took the pattern from Martha Stewart website. The video tutorial was very helpful!Now that sun is shining on Paris, I started knitting again in our beautiful parks while the toddler is playing.

Ces dernières semaines, alors qu'il pleuvait, j'en ai pas mal profité pour m'accoutumer à ma nouvelle machine à coudre. On peut dire que maintenant je suis plutôt à l'aise avec. J'en ai même oublié ma vieille Singer Samba 2... Même si je n'ai pas encore le coeur à m'en séparer. Dernièrement, j'en ai profité pour coudre des sacs en attendant les beaux jours. Maintenant, j'ai deux nouveaux sacs pour mes en-cours de tricot! Le premier est issu du livre de Cath Kidston "A vos aiguilles!" offert par le chéri. Et le deuxième est un sac réversible d'inspiration japonaise en wax. Le patron est issu du site de Martha Stewart. La vidéo du tutoriel m'a été très utile. Maintenant que le soleil est de retour, je peux reprendre à tricoter dans les parcs pendant que Mister Bébé joue.
