Comme vous avez pu le remarquer dans mes tenues du jour, je ne porte pas souvent de bague. Je suis très difficile de ce côté là. L’année passée j’ai craqué sur les bagues Arty d’Yves Saint Laurent. Un vrai coup de coeur, pas juste l’envie d’avoir la bague du moment. Depuis j’en suis à ma troisième et ça va être dur d’arrêter je pense. Les quelques autres que je possède ne sont pas plus discrètes…

As you’ve probably noticed in my outfits of the day, I don’t wear rings very often. I am very picky when it comes to rings. Last year I fell in love with the Arty ones from Yves Saint Laurent. It wasn’t just a “oh I want the newest it ring” but the real deal. I know I have three of them and I think it’s gonna be hard not to get another one. The other ones I have, aren’t more discrete…

La semaine passée je vous montrais ma magnifique bague serpent de Kenneth Jay Lane. Le problème avec cette bague c’est qu’au moment de la commande il ne fallait pas choisir de taille. Comme elle était super soldée, j’ai risqué. La bague est en fait en “taille unique” avec un petit cerclage intérieur qui est sensé s’adapter à votre doigt. Une fois enfilé, il est resté coinçé sur mon doigt (oui j’ai juré!) et s’est donc cassé. Je me suis donc mise à la recherche d’une solution pour pouvoir la porter car elle était beaucoup trop grande.

Last week I showed you the amazing snake ring from Kenneth Jay Lane. The problem with this ring was that when I bought it, you couldn’t select a size. Since it was 70% off, I bought it anyway. In fact it’s a “one size fits all” ring with a small metal hoop inside which is suppose to fit to your finger. I put the ring on but the hoop got stuck on my finger (yes I swore!) and broke. So I started looking for a solution to wear it since it was way too big now.

J’ai finalement trouvé sur eBay ces petits anneaux en plastique de la marque Ring Snuggies. J’en avais d’abord trouvé sur Blanche Porte mais apparement il s’agissait d’une pâle copie. Je me suis donc lancée et cette invention est juste géniale! J’ai pris un assortiment et coup de chance, il y en avait juste un pour bague double. Il suffit de le glisser sur la bague et celle-ci perd 1, 2 voir 3 tailles. Au plus gros est l’anneau, au plus la taille est réduite bien sûr. Cela ne gêne absolument pas, ne glisse pas, ne tourne pas.

I finally found those tiny plastic rings on eBay from a brand called Ring Snuggies. I had found some on Blanche Porte first but the reviews were bad. And let me tell you, those little adjusters are amazing! I bought a mixed pack. You just slide it on the ring and it become 1, 2 even 3 sizes smaller. The bigger the adjuster, the more the size of the ring is reduced. It doesn’t bother me at all, I can’t even feel it.

Si vous avez des bagues plus fines, l’anneau se fermera bien sûr.

If you have smaller rings, the hoop will close of course.

Bref je vous le recommande! J’ai acheté les miens chez un vendeur anglais (bilash2010). Il y en a des beaucoup moins chers mais je pense qu’il s’agit de copies donc faites attention.

Anyway I can’t recommend it enough! I bought mine from a UK based seller (bilash2010). I have seen some much cheaper ones but I think it might be fakes so beware.
