Comme le printemps a enfin pointé le bout de son nez à Manhattan, j'ai eu envie de vous montrer mon ensemble préféré de l' hiver dernier. Les photos ont été prises lors de la dernière tombée de neige, et j'adore le contraste avec les couleurs de mes vêtements. Particulièrement avec mon pantalon rouge! Pour ceux qui me connaissent, vous ne m'avez pas vu porter de rouge depuis au moins 20 ans. Ne jamais dire jamais! J'ai enfin osé réintégrer le rouge dans mon placard et je n'ai aucun regret. Je dois admettre que ma première motivation a été de trouver quoi porter avec mon blazer bleu marine.
J'ai découvert le designer new yorkais Thom Browne lors de la collection Neiman Marcus chez Target en décembre. Ça a été un vrai coup de foudre. Mon cœur s'est arrêté, mes yeux se sont écarquillés et mes mains ont attrapé cette petite merveille. Sérieusement, un blazer si joli et aux finitions impeccables, ça ne se loupe pas. La coupe est divine et les couleurs tellement françaises. C'est comme si Thom Browne l'avait confectionné pour moi. Et comme un look n'est jamais complet sans un sac, il est tout naturel que j'ai choisi d'accessoiriser le mien avec cet adorable Coach en cuir.

As it seems spring is finally taking over New York, I thought I would share with you my favorite outfit of this past winter. These pictures were taken the last time snow covered the city and I adore the contrast it creates with my clothes. Especially my red pants! For those who know me, you haven't seen me wearing red for at least twenty years. Well, never say never right?! I went bold this past season with a bright red pair of pants and I have no regrets at all. I have to admit my first motivation was to find something to match with my navy blazer.
I discovered Thom Browne while rushing to Target for the Neiman Marcus collection last December. It was love at first sight. My heart stopped, my eyes stared and my hands grabbed this magnificent piece of clothing. No but seriously, have you ever seen a blazer so fashionably cute and perfect? The cut is divine, the colors are so French. It was as if Thom Browne made that one for me. And as a woman's look is never complete without a bag, it is common sense that I accessorized it with my adorable leather Coach bag.
