La limite de participation pour les Sony World Photography Awards 2014 est fixée au 6 janvier 2014 pour la catégorie amateurs et le 9 janvier 2014 pour la catégorie professionnelle.
Cette année le jury sera présidé par le collectionneur et conservateur new yorkais W.M Hunt. Il sera assisté de Ruth Eichhorn, Geo Allemagne, Johanna Neurath, Isabella Icoz, Guy Harrington, Matthew Pillsbury, photographe, Harry Hardie, Panos Pictures, Suzy Koo, Burberry, Poorna Bell, Huffington Post et Simon Barnett, CNN Digital.
