Casa Iporanga

Hello!

J’avais vaguement évoqué le sujet sur Instagram il y a de cela 2 mois mais nous y voilà enfin! À la fin de la semaine, je vous emmène au Brésil, à Rio plus exactement et peut-être il y aura quelques surprises !

Je suis tellement contente de partager ça avec vous, je vous promets des photos, des interviews et des cartes postales pour éclairer cette fin d’année !

Pour fêter ça, voici un projet magnifique d’un architecte brésilien que j’admire particulièrement. La Casa Iporanga se situe à Guaruja, dans l’Etat de Sao Paulo, sur la côte Atlantique. Comme Marcio Kogan, et beaucoup d’architectes brésiliens issus du modernisme, Isay Weinfeld utilise l’art de vivre brésilien et construit son projet autour, en gommant les frontières intérieur/extérieur, faisant de la nature un décor à part entière.

Faire une architecture pour faire oublier l’architecture semble être leur credo.

I had briefly talked about it on Instagram about 2 months ago but here it is now! At the end of the week I’m taking you to Brazil, to Rio exactly and maybe there will be some surprises!

I am so excited to share this with you, I promise you some photos, interviews and postcards to enlighten this holiday season!

To celebrate here is a beautiful project by a Brazilian architect which I admire particularly. The Casa Iporanga is located in Guaruja, in the Sao Paulo state, on the Atlantic coast. As Marcio Kogan & many Brazilian architects influenced by Modernism, Isay Weinfeld uses the Brazilian Art de Vivre as a starting point and builds his project around it. They blur the interior/exterior borders making Nature a part of the decoration.

Making architecture in order to forget the architecture seems to be their motto.
